COMPANY PROFILE : 

ACCOUNT COLLECTION SERVICE LIMITED is a small highly efficient debt collecting company owned and operated by Bruce McCauley who has been in the Credit Management and Debt Collecting business since 1968. He has worked for various large debt collecting companies and offers a personal service considered superior to others.

We collect business accounts throughout New Zealand and believe our competitiveness can be used to your advantage as follows:

1.	The owner places great importance on customer service and presentation. All our Court documentation and correspondence to clients and debtors alike are produced in a professional manner.
2.	We operate on low overheads and offer an extremely high personal service to a moderate number of substantial clients and appreciate their on-going business.
3.	Our many years experience allow us to attend to most legal documentation ourselves, meaning a great saving in solicitors fees, although our solicitors are always available for advice and check all documentation before issue.

COMMISSION RATES :  (Plus GST - currently 15%)

Commission is charged on amounts paid to us or direct to you (and/or credits issued by you) after accounts are received by us for collection as follows:

First $20,000 - 20%   (this may be charged to the debtor if you supply us with a copy of such agreement)

Over $20,000.00   -  No Charge

A major benefit of our service to you is our commission structure and on larger accounts this is a big saving - commission is only charged on the first portion of an account and if you have provision we can add interest and our commission to the debtor's account. You should have this provision in your credit application and terms of trade of which we require a copy.

We account to you, on a net basis, by the 20th of the month for all transactions relating to the previous month - i.e. all expenses are deducted from payments received. It is agreed that any accounts placed with us for collection are as per these conditions.

We have a NO COLLECTION - NO COMMISSION policy on all debts, although disbursements are charged at cost.

DISTRICT COURT ACTIONS :

Our solicitors are involved in the documentation for the issue of District Court actions, which has jurisdiction up to $200,000.00, but they charge only a modest fee for the preparation and filing of documents. We are likely to be able to handle these actions far cheaper than through your own solicitors or other agency.

HIGH COURT ACTIONS :

We offer large savings on Company Liquidation and Bankruptcy proceedings completing straight forward actions at a cost much lower than other solicitors or agencies. A modest documentation fee is charged but commission is only charged if payment is received.
